Well we have officially been on our 1% diets for two whole weeks! We are excited to share how it’s been going and what we have noticed since being on our diets!

Two weeks into my 1% journey, and I am really excited to announce that WITHOUT working out at all (oops! I’ve been super busy!) I have managed to drop a total of 5lbs! Which is amazing! I just got my schedule all figured out to get myself back on that gym grind, and I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am to see what happens with the meals and exercise combined!

A few Things I Have Noticed So Far:

  • Loss of weight.
  • Less groggy throughout the day.
  • I feel so much more energized and focused.
  • I no longer get the 2:00 PM crash at work!

Not only have the meals been obviously working in a variety of ways, but they are really tasty! I also really love the fact that they mix it up for us every week so we aren’t constantly eating the same thing over and over again. Each day I get a new meal, and each week if I do get the “same” meal, there is usually a new twist to it! So far my favorite is the turkey lasagna, seriously so good. I have always hated healthy food just because I felt it was too bland and not exciting enough for my food loving taste buds, fortunately 1% meals are made by the best and are made to satisfy those bad cravings!

Successful week down. I think it may be too early to really tell you if I feel a difference physically, but I will tell you this… Anytime I have tried to cheat and eat my usual choice of nutrition (pizza, mac & cheese, Ice cream sammies) it’s an instant let down.

HOW IS MY COMFORT FOOD NOT WORKING ANY MORE?

Who knew there were so many ways to eat chicken and quinoa? I have always been a fan of chicken, but 1 percent has most definitely taken it to another level. The favorite meal so far? Sundays lunch!!! Worst part about that meal was when it ended. I have a secret obsession with the breakfast bars. CHOCOLATE FOR BREAKFAST!!! It’s a win win for everyone.

I’m glad that we decided to put me on the heavy meal plan. I haven’t felt nearly as tired or depleted after a ride and I am especially grateful that I don’t feel like I am burning more calories than I am taking in anymore. I’m excited to get into this next week and feel the changes start to take affect.
